Decanter centrifuge is sample analysis instrument containing mechanical, electronics, refrigeration, vacuum, materials and many other technologies. It can carry out separation, concentration and purification for different sedimentation coefficients substance by high-speed rotation. Widely used in biomedical students, petrochemicals, agriculture, food, health and other fields, it uses differences in sedimentation velocity field of centrifugal force, to achieve the separation of the sample analyzed.
The centrifuge is divided into low speed, high speed and speeding, according to type, it has horizontal decanter centrifuge and vertical decanter centrifuge. Low-speed centrifuge is mainly used for preparation of blood or cells, proteins and enzymes precipitate separation, can not generate a sufficient centrifugal force field.
High-speed centrifuge can separate viruses, bacteria, nucleus, plasma membrane, mitochondria, and DNA preparation.
